Reactive Martial Maneuvers have been made more versatile by allowing for more "borrowing ahead" of Action Points from upcoming Turns.
- All Parries can be borrowed ahead, but doing so reduces the Guard by 1 per Mastery Level of the Parry.
- Window of Weakness and Counter Strike can be borrowed ahead to a limited extent.
- The grand total of all borrowed ahead AP cannot exceed 7 AP.
Melee Presence, Area Presence, Social Interactions and how they are affected by Magnitude have been adjusted to make things more consistent across categories to aid in ease of memory.
- Horses have been changed to better work with changes to Melee Presence.
The standard Minstrel Songs have been reclassified as War Songs and the option to sing Situational Songs has been added. Situational Songs provide situational flexibility and can be used in more of a roleplaying manner. This is compared to War Songs which have pretty specific use cases and give standardized results mostly beneficial in combat.
- Situational Songs can be used with Social Interactions and Minstrels can enhance their Social Skills by incorporating Situational Songs and applying their SPP.
We have added a seventh War Attribute, Fortitude.
- Fortitude is derived from Resolve and will dictate how recovery works.
- At the start of their first Turn each Cycle during War characters will Restore an amount to their Endurance, Resolve, or Passion related to their Fortitude.
- Outside of War or while a character is Defeated the Restoring will happen each hour.
Accordingly, Force now increases a little more quickly and damaging Spiritual Effects and Songs are being tweaked up slightly. Increased damages will help keep the recovery provided by Fortitude from drawing out combats.
