Elohim Names

In the canonized Scriptures, few names are ever given to or used for angels or demons.

Holy elohim names often point to God.

Unholy elohim names are often insults and avoid giving the dignity of a name to the being.

 

In Second Temple works, there was greater fascination and preoccupation with spiritual beings and there were a lot more names given to spiritual beings, both good and evil. Even still, these name were representative of the character's role in the narrative and not literal names disseminated to the authors.
