Tempest

Tempest manifests a strong wind that doubles the distance covered by the Minstrel and their allies when Moving and also halves the distance covered by up to Tier:1 holy elohim. The amount of distance halved or doubled each Segment is equal to the SPP invested and is tracked using the amount of distance that would be covered before any effects are applied to the distance. (For example, spending 2 Actions Points moving would count as 2" halved or doubled, regardless if the distance was halved by Defensive Stance or increased by having a Horse.)

Unlike most Songs, the Range of this Song is constant. The Song’s effect begins after the last Action Point that puts a character into Range and ends with the last Action Point that puts a character into or out of Range. Any Strikes and their associated Moving are based upon the Range when the Strike was initiated. Multiple instances of Tempest can compound to increase the amount of distance halved or doubled, but it will still only be halved or doubled. Winds of Heaven and Tempest offset each other by the comparative distances they overlap.

Cursed Tempest can affect more distance and affects up to Tier:2 holy elohim. Unholy Tempest can affect even more distance and affects all holy elohim.
