Disciplines

Once your character progresses to Rank:3 or beyond, they may consider joining a Discipline. By joining a Discipline, the character chooses to align themself with a more specific purpose. This purpose will usually have an impact on the character both during general roleplaying situations and during War.

Disciplines add a lot of variety to characters and the game as well. Most of the tasks we see elohim per-forming and terms used in conjunction with them in Scripture are found in one Discipline or another. While there is no pressure to join a Discipline, you should really look at the Disciplines available to your character and decide if joining one of them might enhance your roleplaying experience with that character.

An elohim’s Discipline, as compared to the elohim’s Order, is not a part of how the elohim was created. An elohim can leave a Discipline, but should not do so casually, just as they should not join one casually. If an elohim does leave a Discipline, they will lose any benefits and restrictions gained from being in that Discipline and will not be able to join a different Discipline until they have increased in Rank at least 3 more times.
