Reinforce

Reinforce allows the Ministering Spirit to apply their own Guard to increase the Guard of an ally by that amount. The Ministering Spirit’s Guard is reduced by half of the total amount of increases. An increase of up to 2 Guard may be given individually to each affected ally.

The Ministering Spirit may not give enough Guard that it would reduce their Natural Guard below 0. Guard from a Staff and Defensive Stance cannot be used to give Increases, however Guard from Holy Items can be used because they Increase Natural Guard. Unlike usual, multiple instances and versions of this Spiritual Effect can stack on the same character.

Sanctified Reinforce allows the Ministering Spirit to give an increase of up to 4. Righteous Reinforce increases this to 6.

Fortify

Fortify increases the Target’s Current Resolve by 21. It also reduces any WearR received by 10%.

Steadfastness can bring a Defeated elohim out of Defeated Status. If the Ministering Spirit uses Fortify on themself, they pay the Resolve Cost of a 2nd Target, even if they are the only Target. If they have paid the higher amount and and they add a 2nd Target later, they can pay the lower Cost for that Target.

Sanctified Fortify increases Resolve by 40 and decreases WearR received by 20%. Righteous Fortify increases Resolve by 80 and decreases WearR received by 30%.

Steadfastness

Steadfastness increases the Target’s Current Endurance by 21. It also negates the additional Exertion gained from the Weary Condition.

Steadfastness versions will have no effect when used on an elohim who is Defeated in Endurance. If the Ministering Spirit uses Steadfastness on themself, they pay the Resolve Cost of a 2nd Target, even if they are the only Target. If they have paid the higher amount and and they add a 2nd Target later, they can pay the lower Cost for that Target.

Sanctified Steadfastness increases Endurance by 40 and additionally reduces Exertion received from Poison by half. Righteous Steadfastness increases Endurance by 144 and additionally negates the effects of Weakened Status.

Perseverance

Perseverance causes the Target to recover 40 current Endurance, Resolve, and Passion at the beginning of each of their Activations. Also, they will remain at Normal Status until they reaches -40 Endurance, Resolve, or Passion (then becoming Defeated). Nothing may change their Status or Condition below Normal until they have reached -40 Endurance, Resolve, or Passion.

Perseverance has no effect on an elohim who is Defeated in Endurance. It can prevent Status from being lowered to Defeated through Endurance of 0 or less, but will not affect an elohim is already Defeated in this way.
