Choosing Inspiration Specializations 

As they increase in Rank, player characters may decide to specialize in up to three specific uses of Inspiration. This Specialization does not prohibit other uses of Inspiration and each Specialization may only be applied once during each opportunity in which Inspiration can be used. Most simply double the effect of one Inspiration the Player spends for that purpose. The following is a list of Specializations, but other Specializations can be created in cooperation with a Host: 

  • Add 2” to the Range of your elohim’s Ranged Strike 
  • 2 Adjustments to your elohim’s Strike Roll 
  • 2 Adjustments to a Strike Roll against your elohim 
  • Reroll 1 die in a Strike Roll made by or against you elohim (Epic results of 12 and 1 cannot be rerolled; cannot reroll a die that has been adjusted)
  • 2 Adjustments to your elohim’s Resist or Attribute Check Roll
  • 2 Adjustments to a Resist or Attribute Check Roll made against your elohim
  • Reroll 1 die in a Resist or Attribute Check Roll made by or against you elohim (Epic results of 12 and 1 cannot be rerolled; cannot reroll a die that has been adjusted)
  • Add 4” Knock Back to your elohim’s Strike (must have at least one ”Hit” even if it is canceled) 
  • Add Falter:4 to your elohim’s Strike (must have at least one ”Hit” even if it is canceled) 
  • Resist 6” of Knock Back or Resist/Recover from 6 Action Points of Falter to your elohim 
  • Reduce Exertion by 5 or Poison:3 
  • 3 Action Points for your elohim to use immediately (useable once between Activations only) 
  • Initiate two Ongoing Spiritual Effects on any number of Targets for only 1 Action Point each
  • For this Cycle the Range increase from one Inspiration to one of your Spiritual Effects is doubled 
  • +1 Level of Effect to all recipients for two Boosting Song your elohim is singing this Cycle (May only exceed maximum Levels of Effect by 1 this way) 
  • For this Cycle the Range increase from one Inspiration to one of your Songs is doubled
  • If spending Inspiration to Increase Endurance, Resolve, or Passion, one third of the natural maximum of that Attribute will be treated as Restored when the Increase expires (up to a maximum of 40) 
  • Automatically Pass a Intentional Perception Check made by your elohim with a Bonus (Cannot be used twice during the same character’s Activation) 
  • Apply one of your elohim’s Inspiration to an ally within 7” (no Specialization bonuses for this Inspiration; your elohim can give no more than one Inspiration to each Ally during each opportunity in which Inspiration can be used; this can allow a 4th Inspiration for an Offensive purpose and can allow more than 1 Inspiration to be used against an Archon) 
  • Negate penalty for any number of extra Target's to a Social Interaction and negate penalty for Self-Targeted Interactions
  • 3 Adjustments to a Social Check involving your elohim or remove 2 Social Dominance Points from your elohim 

A player may choose one Specialization upon or after achieving Ranks: 2, 4, and 6 for a total of 3 potential Specializations.
