Fear of the Lord

Fear of the Lord inspires all unholy elohim with fearful respect for the Most High and those who represent Him. It damages Passion by 9(3) and causes them to become wary and immediately assume Full Defensive Stance if not fully Resisted. The Defensive Stance only gives 2 Guard and no bonus Defensive Adjustment. If they have 3 uncanceled Fails in their Resist Check, they will flee the War for 1 Cycle instead (not Singing or doing any other actions). This Song is Resistible using Passion.

Blessed Fear of the Lord damages Passion by 12(4). Righteous Fear of the Lord damages Passion by 15(5).

Awe

Awe causes all unholy elohim to Falter, inspired to dwell upon the greatness of the Most High whom they have rebelled against. It damages Passion by 12(4) and causes them to Falter half of their Action Points each Turn if not fully Resisted. This Falter is applied as F:# just before the start of each Turn. If they have 3 uncanceled Fails in their Resist Check, they will Falter:1 Cycle instead. This Song is Resistible using Resolve.

Blessed Awe damages Passion by 15(5). Righteous Awe damages Passion by 18(6).

Conviction

Conviction inspires one unholy Target at a time with great remorse for their sins and fear of judgment. If not fully Resisting, the Target will suffer Passion damage and will Falter half their Action Points in indecision. If their Resist Check has no Passes, they will Falter all of their AP instead. However, if they have 3 uncanceled Fails in their Resist Check, instead of Faltering, they will actively try to stop any unholy elohim attempting to address holy elohim (for example, restraining those who are still fighting against holy elohim) and will continue to help until either their Passion is fully recovered. Unholy elohim affected by Conviction will not freely allow others to Strike them. They have unaffected defenses and will assume Defensive Stance or flee in order to avoid being Struck by holy elohim. This Song is Resistible using Passion.

Unlike usual, this Song is Resisted at the end of each of the Minstrel's Turns. The Minstrel chooses their Target at the beginning of their Turn each Turn. The Minstrel may change to a different Target each Turn. If changing Target's, the previous Target they will cease to be affected at the end of the Minstrel's current Turn.

Blessed Conviction damages Passion by 9(3) and can be harder to Resist. Righteous Conviction damages Passion by 12(4) and can be even harder to Resist.

Submission

Submission enhances the effects of Fear, Awe, and Conviction by reducing the number of uncanceled Fails needed to cause the strongest effect. Unlike usual, Submission is only sung investing 2 or 4 SPP. 2 SPP reduces the uncanceled Fails needed to 2. 4 SPP reduces the uncanceled Fails needed to 1.

Submission can affect versions being sung by allies.
