Honor & Rank

As your elohim continues to faithfully serve the Most High will reward your elohim by bestowing Honor upon them. This Honor accumulates which periodically leads to the elohim being promoted in Rank. Each time your elohim increases in Rank, several things will happen. Your elohim will gain more Seeds of growth potential. Depending on the elohim’s Order, they will be able to learn new Maneuvers, Spiritual Effects, and Songs. At certain Ranks, your elohim will increase in Tier, becoming a 2nd Heaven elohim or even greater. Table 8 shows how much Honor is needed to advance to each Rank.

An elohim can never advance more than one Rank at a time. If their honor is enough that they would advance more than one Rank then instead they will gain Honor up to the point of being 1 Honor short of the second Rank increase. All Honor beyond that is forfeited.

(Ex. Herald's first Mission would have given 3,500 Honor. Because that would advance Herald more than 1 Rank at one time, the Host tells the player who played Herald that Herald can only gain 2,999. The player checks this with Table 5 and sees that at 1,000 Honor Herald would promote to Rank:1 and 3,000 would have promoted Herald to Rank:2. The player changes Herald's current Honor to 2,999 and under Next Rank the player writes 3,000.)

Why Are There Elohim of Different Ranks?

In “Allies of Majesty” it is assumed not all elohim have been called to participate in active service regarding the affairs of man on the earth. Many elohim happily serve the Most High in the divine council, serving as witnesses and participants in the Most High’s governing or otherwise attending his presence in a cherub or seraph role. When an elohim steps out of this wonderful role to take up the new role of serving the Most High by serving man, they do so with pleasure, but also with a bit of sadness. Some elohim were called out like this sooner than others. Some will later return to the divine council or the Most High's presence for a time. Some may never serve on the earth. It is at the Most High's pleasure that elohim are assigned and none of the holy elohim look down on any other elohim for his role. It cannot be expressed strongly enough that for holy elohim, it isn’t about themselves. It is about serving the Most High.

Some elohim were created with great power from the beginning. Many of those are now among the rebels, not having the maturity that comes with persisting through times of weakness and vulnerability. As elohim serve in earth level deployment they are tested and can grow in their Attributes. For this elohim are honored for their loyal service and are promoted in Rank. As they increase in Rank they gain more Seeds of potential growth and continue to grow stronger.
