Reinforce

Reinforce allows the Ministering Spirit to Increase an ally's Guard against one incoming Strike of their choosing received within 1 Cycle. The ally can choose to apply the Increase against any Strike they receive, before the roll is made, and then the Increase is gone. The Ministering Spirit may give the standard Increase, or may share some of their own Guard to double the Increase. If doing so, the Ministering Spirit's Guard is reduced by 1 for 1 Cycle. If the Ministering Spirit gives Guard to double a different Increase during that Cycle, the given Guard amount is totaled and a new 1 Cycle duration begins for the Ministering Spirit to recover all given Guard. 

If not used within 1 Cycle, the Increase is lost. Characters may only have one Guard Increase waiting at one time. An Increase from Reinforce can be replaced and the duration may be refreshed, but multiple Increases from a version of Reinforce do not stack. The Ministering Spirit may not give enough Guard that it would reduce their natural Guard below 0.

Sanctified Reinforce allows the Ministering Spirit to give an Increase of 4. Holy Reinforce gives an Increase of 5.

Fortify

Fortify increases the Target’s Current Resolve by 21. It also Increases Fortitude beyond what would be gained by the Increased Resolve.

Fortify versions can bring a Defeated elohim out of Defeated Status. While the Ministering Spirit is using this Spiritual Effect on themself only, they pay the higher Allotment as if they were a 2nd Target.

Sanctified Fortify increases Resolve by 40 and Increases Fortitude by 2. Holy Fortify increases Resolve by 80 and Increases Fortitude by 3.

Steadfastness

Steadfastness Increases the Target’s Current Endurance by 21. It also prevents the Endurance damage from 1 Exertion gained from self-initiated actions each time such an action is taken. This does not reduce damage suffered from Poison or other external sources.

Steadfastness versions can bring a Defeated elohim out of Defeated Status. While the Ministering Spirit is using this Spiritual Effect on themself only, they pay the higher Allotment as if they were a 2nd Target.

Sanctified Steadfastness Increases Endurance by 40 and additionally reduces Exertion received from Poison by half. Holy Steadfastness Increases Endurance by 80 and halves Exertion from any source that is not from the character's own actions.

Perseverance

Perseverance Restores 40 Current Endurance, Resolve, and Passion to each ally at the beginning of each of their Turns. Also, they will remain at Normal Status until they reaches -40 Endurance, Resolve, or Passion (then becoming Defeated). Nothing may change their Status or Condition below Normal until they have reached -40 Endurance, Resolve, or Passion.

Perseverance has no effect on an elohim once they have reached -40 Endurance, Resolve, or Passion.
