Character Names

Within the lore, holy elohim names are purposeful, draw more upon the characters role, and usually direct attention to the Most High through the use of -el or -iel at the end indicating "God does/has done", "God is" or "God is my". For example, Raphael mean "God has healed" and Gabriel mean "God is my strength".

Character Creation Notes:

Players have great freedom when choosing a name for their character and there are no solid expectations for names to conform to the lore. Names of characters and enemies are often a source of fun and a good chuckle, or they may be laden with rich meaning connecting to the personality the player has in mind for the character. It is really up to the player.

If you don't have a good idea for a name now, come back to it when you are finished with creating the character and see of you have a better idea of what kind of character you have created. This may help guide you to a suitable name. Also, don't be afraid to give you character a temporary name that you will change later once the character has come into a stronger connection with their identity. This can mirror how God changed some biblical characters' names as their identities took a more mature shape.
